Every year, nearly 4 million Americans delay their medical care because they have no way to get to and from their appointments. Carolina Specialty Transport is increasing access options for healthcare despite ever-changing health coverage. Home health coordination is essential to avoiding long-term care. We are helping to relieve the burden by coordinating transportation to various networks of health providers.

Logistics

Each of our vehicles is radio-dispatched to ensure the most efficient pickup and departure times. Our vehicles also use GPS tracking and onboard audio and video recording.

Equipment

We utilize and maintain a working fleet of over 40 service vehicles, each of them modified and ADA compliant, such as 12-15 passenger vans, mini-vans, and full-size paratransit vans with lifts. Vehicles have available handicap ramps, and we provide wheelchairs and geri chairs free of charge. Ask about our oxygen and our portable ramps.

Since 1996, Carolina Specialty Transport has been providing customers in North and South Carolina with general, non-emergency, and professional transportation services for doctor visits, special events, funerals, and group outings. We maintain a fleet of 40 vehicles that operate regionally on a daily basis. Our clientele is diverse and we are always ready for new opportunities. Every year that we expand our services, we will always continue to maintain a superior level of service.

Lift Vans: We use and maintain the largest available lift manufacturer Braun Ability wheelchair lifts. These lifts, which offer both rear and side access, promise strong and secure accessibility with time-tested durability and versatility.

Flexible Seating Options: Our vehicles employ SmartFloor Brand installation to the passenger area, which supplies an extensive range of seating options for all types of passengers.

Passenger Vans: We offer large size 15 passenger vans, medium size 12 person passenger vans, and 7 person passenger vans for your convenience.

Safety is Our Priority: Each vehicle is inspected daily, weekly, and monthly as needed to rule out defects and keep our passengers safe.
